This Job Aid is designed to serve as a guideline for you in managing the financial records of your local. The Job Aid presents methods and procedures recommended by the CWA except where a requirement from the CWA Constitution, the IRS, or the Department of Labor is indicated. The Job Aid also provides access, via links, to forms, spreadsheets, documents and other aids in helping you get your job done. The Job Aid is broken into two major areas, What do you want to know about? and What do you want to do?   Within the What do you want to know about? topics you can learn about your role as secretary/treasurer, the CWA Constitution and UOPM and access many on-line resources. Within the What do you want to do? topics you are provided overviews of the topics, and subsequent tasks, procedures to accomplish the tasks, sample materials to learn from and electronic documents you can use.
