Local Payday eliminates the financial effect of an uncertain schedule and provides instead a guarantee that the dues remittance will be deposited in the Local’s bank account according to a predetermined schedule. This enables Locals to better control and plan their finances. The Local is no longer penalized because of a late company check being sent to the Headquarters Office.

There are seven scheduled paydays each month covering all the major units. The payday for each processing unit is determined by the average expected receipt date for that processing unit
