Initiation fees in the amount of $1.00 are collected by the International for every New Hire reported by the employer or by the local. This is determined from the MLO-117 form sent into the International by the Local. Any New Hire (coded as type N – see Form MLO-117 for further explanation) will be added to the International Database as "Initiation Fees Owed". When the first month’s dues is collected and reported to the International the $1.00 will be deducted at that time. No Initiation fees are deducted for Agency Fee Payers.
