Following is a sample of contract language for the Dues Check-off section of all new contracts to be used in negotiations.

This type of contract language should be used in all contracts. We should encourage companies who are not already doing so to report dues deductions to the International via magnetic tape.

Many of the delays and problems experienced in dues processing could be eliminated with magnetic tape reporting and better contract language.
